Pink Polka Dots

Hi all this is the first of my children's birthday cards. For those of you not in the know I have twin girls who will be 5 in a couple of weeks and a little boy who will be 3 in just over a week. Yes, our planning went astray, 3 kids with birthdays only 5 days apart, it makes for an interesting week!

Anyway, this card is for our eldest, Emily who for some reason wants everything to be ice cream related this year! I used a DigiSparkle image - Ice cream from Desserts and I used some Smirk papers and a computer generated sentiment.

This card is for these challenges:
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Cupcake Craft - Pink Polka Dots
Top Tip Tuesday - Birthdays

Crafty Sentiments - Just for you

This week's Crafty Sentiments challenge is Just for you.  I used Flopsy (you can still grab this freebie here) and handwrote the sentiment and if you look closely enough you'll notice I stamped some cute little ice creams on the sentiment tab. Don't forget to go and check out the rest of my teammates amazing creations over at Crafty Sentiments.

With Kisses

Hi all, had a bit of a spending spree recently and managed to bag myself a few gorgeous Tilda's from ebay. So had a play and this is the first one I've come up with. I've coloured her with my copics and added a little glitter pen to the sparkles, she's mounted using the 'out of the box' technique and then a pink scalloped circle and I created a pink sparkle circle using my Stampendous snowflake stamp set. Oh and the sentiment is a Crafty Sentiments one from the Patches and Stitch set, love this one!

I'm entering this card for the Just Magnolia and H & S - Anything Goes Challenge

Pink Gem New Release and candy!

Don't these new stamps form Pink gem look ace? Be on the lookout for these and I think there might be a few more new releases on the horizon!!  If you pop on over to Janet and leave her a some happiness you might be able to win these fabby stamps.

Crafty Sentiments Spring

I've noticed a lot of spring-iness about lately, both here in little old Cheshire and in blogland.  It's so refreshing to smell that spring air and see the crocuses popping out in the garden. I was a tad inspired  and so created this little one. I just adore this little Boy with Flowers from Crafty Sentiments, it takes quite a while to colour the beautiful bouquet but wouldn't you just love to receive it? I added a few liquid pearls just to give it a it of texture.

This card is for these challenges:

The Pink Elephant - Spring time
Cute card Thursday - Signs of Spring
Fab 'n' Funky - Spring into Action

Waltzingmouse sketch Challenge

This week's Waltzingmouse sketch seemed like a really easy one, I had the idea in my mind yet somehow it didn't come together as easily as I had thought it would! Oh well! I had a go.  I embossed with my nesties to create the double frame and I then used the Half pint Heroes to create this little undersea scene.  Think it works, shame the card I stamped onto wasn't that great quality and it didn't help that my memento black ink is running out! The sentiment is in grey memento and I coloured with copics (predictable I know!)

Crafty Sentiments - Birthdays

An easy one this week, Birthdays! Although only easy if you remember - sorry I'm a tad late on this one, I've had a few headaches this week and the computer screen has just made me feel worse so I haven't been with it this week. However I do love the Crafty Sentiments challenges and I think they have some really cute images.  This week's image is one I used a couple of weeks ago (Teddy with Rose) but I decided to use it in a slightly different way. I also used the sentiment from the Patches and Stitch set, I love those sentiments, use them all the time!

I like this card although if I'm really picking I should have put the top right image on the top left or swapped the top right and bottom left, I dunno I think I've starred at it too long - do you ever do that?

I also want to enter this card into this challenge:

Less is more - 3 squares
