Crafty Sentiments - Lace

This week's Crafty Sentiments challenge is one that takes me out of my comfort zone - lace.  So far out of my comfort zone in fact that I don't actually have any in the house! So when I was searching for inspiration I thought about digi lace and while I was sorting out how to print it I realised I could do something totally different, I could go digital! So here is my digi creation!

Obviously I used the most gorgeous Crafty Sentiments Two Hearts image and a Crafty Sentiments Birthday Circles sentiment (Billy birthday present) and I also used some amazing papers and elements from Summertime Designs the lace is from the Memories kit and the papers are from her A Little Spring in your Step kit.

Don't forget to pop on over and show the rest of my teamates some love and maybe have a go yourself, maybe this is in your comfort zone!!

Crafty Sentiments - Kai

Over at Crafty Sentiments we're doing mini digi releases on a Friday and this week we're releasing this cute little digi - Kai.

The picture doesn't show it very well but the paper is sparkly, as are the stick on borders and Kai's headband. I coloured her with copics and fussy cut her.

Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes

Crafty Sentiments Challenge this week is a perfect one - anything goes!
I decided I would ink up one of the Crafty Sentiments newest releases and do a really simple number on it! But then I think think this image is so pretty it doesn't need much more! This is one of those cute bunny ones - Love Boat Bunnies, isn't it the sweetest!

After colouring with my copics I cut it out with my circle nesties and layered it on the lacy circles nestie, and then added a simple Paula Pascual sentiment and voila!

Don't forget to nip on over and leave my teamates some love!

And while I remember I've just got to share this news with you.  Crafty Sentiments are going to be at the Creative Crafts Show - Manchester if you're about don't forget to pop in and say hello to Suzette :)

Sparkle

Evening all, I decided I really wanted to enter more challenges this year.  I've really slacked in popping things online for people to see.  In my mission though I have decided to only focus on a few challenges, one of my faves at the moment is Sparkle Creations, I adore her stamps and I thought I would ink up one of her beautiful images, Cocktail Emily.   I adore this image, and not only for the name!  This week's challenge is to use something new; Emily is nearly new, this is only the second time I've used her! But my papers are new, love the depth of colour in these papers!

Unfortunately (or not, depending on what you think of the card!) this is a cover up type of card! The triangles in the corners are there to cover up my rubbish piercing, and the scalloped border (which btw is glittery - sorry about the rubbish photo) is there because I slipped when I stuck the dp on, it was very wonky!!! Apart from that it is my usual, stamped with memento, coloured with copics.  Although I did try using a new technique, I popped colour onto the colourless blender to create very pale tones. Oh and the sentiment is a doodlebugs rub on.

Crafty Sentiments - Water

A beautiful set of new stamps has been released by Crafty Sentiments.  I love this image, Two Hearts, I wonder what they're talking about it? This week's Crafty Sentiments challenge is water, don't forget to pop on over and check out the rest of my amazing dt's creations.

A simple card from me, coloured with copics, a bit of dp and hearts stamped in memento ink.
