Crafty Sentiments - Wedding

Hi all and welcome back to another Crafty Sentiments challenge and this week's challenge is Wedding. This is perfect timing for me as I have my brother-in-law's wedding in a fortnight and despite having thought about it for months I still haven't got on and done it! This is my first attempt, hope you like!

I have used one of the new Crafty Sentiments releases. I adore Billy and Primrose and to see them all dressed up in their finest is amazing!  For this one I've used Primrose but only used her face (I'm into selecting parts of images at the moment!) She's coloured with copics and layered using my nesties. The background paper is a freebie from a magazine, Pink Petticoat papers and the sentiment is a Papermania one.

Don't forget to check out my teamates amazing creations and have a go at creating your own Wedding project.

Animal Antics

I'm on a roll today! These are a few I created a couple of days ago (but it's taking me forever to photograph and blog cards at the moment - I only have time to create OR blog, apparently not both!)

Anyway, this is a little card that uses a freebie from a recent magazine.  I stamped the background with a flower border in versamark, I coloured the image with copics (and experimented with a different outline colour- not convinced!) layered using nesties and then stamped the sentiment.

This is a card that started off as a CASE from this card by Torico, I adore those seahorses and I love the way she framed them by creating the inked background. So I thought I'd have a go at creating an inked background as well as using this cockrel stamp (from Elzybells - sadly closed!).  Hope you likey!!

These cards are for these challenges:

Papertake Weekly - getting cute
Die Cut Dreams - Animal Antics
Stamptacular Sunday - Animal Antics
Simon Says - Anything Goes

The Crafts Meow

Hi all, sorry long time no blog! Life has been manic here, we now have a nice new, clean and white bathroom (just need to paint the walls - hmm, where do i find the time for that?) I have also done a lot more work recently, well I suppose it's good practice for when I get back to working life in September, only mornings but a bit of a shock to the system! Just recently we seem to have numerous parties (for the children, come on you don't expect me to have a social life do you?) and loads of end of school last minute parties, bbq's and events!

So, anyway I won a cool stamp set from The Craft's Meow called Happiness is..  so glad I won it, it's been really versatile. I just thought I would show you some of the cards I've made using this set.  My fav is definitely this first one, I've one the shading by using the same ink as I stamped with and I added it with a blender pen, love this technique!

Crafty Sentiments - Craft with a child

Hi all and welcome to another Crafty Sentiments challenge. This weeks challenge is to craft with a child and I loved this challenge! Jess and I sat down and to be honest I had to leave her to it (to get the dinner on!) because she was taking ages because she was concentrating so hard :) So cute! Once she coloured it I helped her pop them on the card and then she embellished them.

Here she is, proud as punch!

And her are her cards - she used Flopsy with flower and Flora

Crafty Sentiments Christmas Release Day

Today's the day, you can finally buy the new Christmas releases from Crafty Sentiments.

These new images of  Primrose and Billy they are so fun and different and perfect for all those christmas cards, this release is part 1 of 2 sets, so keep an eye out for the next christmas release.

Which is your favourite?  Well I couldn't decide so I used them all!!

I selected different parts of each of the images and popped them in boxes! Coloured with copics I then popped them on to the card bas which I had covered with a Christmas dp and used my corner chomper on. I added the sentiment by stamping it and cutting it out with the long edge of the labels 11 nestie (it felt like an inspired idea!)

Don't forget to visit my teamates by following the links below:
