Some sad news

**This is a sticky post so please scroll down for newer posts**

DIGISPARKLE IS CLOSING

Due to other commitments I have made the difficult decision to close DigiSparkle.
I have really enjoyed sharing my digistamps with you all and will definitely miss the adventure that DigiSparkle has been.

However, before I disappear I wanted to give everybody their last  opportunity to bag a bargain.
So I have decided to put together some SUPERSAVER bundles and there is also a 50% off voucher for those of you that prefer to buy the individual stamps.

DigiSparkle will be open until the end of May so this is your last chance to grab any of my digi's.

Simon Says - Anything Goes

Over at Simon Says they're celebrating their 2nd anniversary. I thought I would join in with their Anything Goes challenge as well as their blog hop :)

So here is my 'anything goes project' I really enjoyed creating this cutie, I used one of my own DigiSparkle digistamps Sit on it (remember this is your last chance to grab a bargain as we are closing soon)

I paper pieced the sofa, used nesites to create the circle and scallops and the polka dot border is a glittery sticker and the 'relax' sentiment is a rub on (doodlebug I think!) and I rounded the corners with my chomper.

Have a grrrreat day

I adore little animals and love this lion (even though I do say so myself!) He's one of my early DigiSparkle digistamps from the Animal Faces set. He was coloured with copics and I handwrote the sentiment and added some eyelets (you don't know how hard this was - I can be so inept!)

I would like to enter this in the CRAFT challenge whose current theme is Animals/pets.

Pink Polka Dots

Hi all this is the first of my children's birthday cards. For those of you not in the know I have twin girls who will be 5 in a couple of weeks and a little boy who will be 3 in just over a week. Yes, our planning went astray, 3 kids with birthdays only 5 days apart, it makes for an interesting week!

Anyway, this card is for our eldest, Emily who for some reason wants everything to be ice cream related this year! I used a DigiSparkle image - Ice cream from Desserts and I used some Smirk papers and a computer generated sentiment.

This card is for these challenges:
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Cupcake Craft - Pink Polka Dots
Top Tip Tuesday - Birthdays

Tweet-heart

I finally got some playtime today (although I paid dearly for it, Drew managed to unravel half a loo roll all over the bathroom!) I created this little card using a new release over at DigiSparkle.

I merged two stamps (from the Tweetheart set) together and then cut them out with a nestie (using the out of the box technique). I coloured them with my copics and mounted on a kraft background which I stamped with a heart using Versamark ink before adding the ribbon.  When my Corner Chomper arrives (would have been today but I din't hear the doorbell - how annoying!!) I'll probably round the bottom corners in order to echo the curves of the oval.

Digi Blog Hop

How do you feel about winning  load of Digistamps?  All you have to do is join in with our Digi blog hop.

Just in case you're new this is what you have to do! (Ooo, that was almost poetic!)  Start here at the Digi blog hop and then hop round our hoppetts leaving them a little comment and collecting the letter they each have for you.  Once you've collected your letters to make a word pop back to the Digi blog hop and tell us and then you're in the running to win some amazing digis.

This month my letter is i

If you've arrived here from Adrina's blog then you're in the right place. If not then hop on over to the Digi Blog Hop and start from the beginning.

So, here is my card:

I've used a Digisparkle image, this is Holly, she is one of the Christmas Girls.  I coloured Holly with my copics and used my coloursoft pencils which I blended with mineral spirits to put a blue shadow around the edge and as you can see I've used copious amounts of glitter. I also used a DigiSparkle sentiment that can be found in this Traditional Christmas set.

Right, now it's time to pop on over to Claire's blog and see her super creation.

Christmas tree

And my final reveal, my Christmas Tree set.
You can buy it here from my digistamp shop DigiSparkle.

This card is quite CAS.  I've coloured the tree and then added gemstones that I've coloured with my copics.  I was just going to put a green outline but I was knocked (by an enthusiastic child) and so I created a swirly pattern round the edge with a glitter gel pen.  I finished it off with an Elzybells sentiment.

Better late than never ...

for my Crafty Sentiments card. Don't know why I thought I'd blogged this when I hadn't, anyway ...

I used the free digi friom DigiSparkle to create the background and I sat the cute Christmas Amy on it.  As per usual I coloured her with my copics, and used my nesties to create the square and scalloped square.  Also, if you look closely you might be able to spot the flock that I've used on her collar and cuffs, very touchy feely!

Gingerbread Man

Another Christmas release.  This is the Christmas Characters digistamp set.

I've created a card using the gingerbread man from the set.
He's coloured with copics and I added some liquid pearls for his eyes.  I masked the background and stamped an Elzybells in Memento desert sand ink and finished it off with an Elzybells sentiment.

Penguins

Here is my first reveal of those sneak peeks.

This is a card a made using my new Penguin digistamp set,
you can buy it from mydigistamp shop, DigiSparkle here

I used a hero arts background stamp with Versamark ink, and a scallop nestie to create the border.  I used some Crafty Sentiments digipaper and I handwrote the sentiment.

Fairymoon Challenge

I've been told about this challenge and I just loved the sketch so much I just had to do a card.  Fairymooncrafts (what a cool name!) and don't forget to check out their shop.

I've used a DigiSparkle digistamp, the cartwheeling boy from the Anyway Up set. I created the background by masking and used the sunrays technique.  I coloured the boy with a mix of copics and a whispers blender pen, so I could use the same inks as the background. I added the border with a black gel pen and added a Papermania sentiment.

Home sweet home

Okay so I'm a naughty blogger, I realise I haven't blogged anything for ages.  I'm going to blame it partly on my laptop blowing up and partly on my laziness (yes I'll admit it!)

Anyway, I created this card for a friend a couple of weeks ago and I'm finally sharing it!  I used one of my DigiSparkle digistamps - Fairy homes which I coloured with my copics (and then added liquid pearls to the spots - not my best move but...) the sentiment is my handwriting again - hmmm! Enjoy and hopefully I'll be back soon.

***THE NEW DIGISPARKLE CHALLENGE SITE***

**This is a sticky post so please scroll down to see my latest creations**

Yes that's right, I'm starting a DigiSparkle Challenge site.  The main aim is to have a place to show off your DigiSparkle creations. Pop on over and check it out.

The first challenge has started and will close on Wednesday 8th September and as a thank you every entry will receive an unreleased, new digi.

Here's my first card for it
(okay I'm not technically up for the chance to win the digi's but I like to play along just for fun!)

I created this using the Flowerpot Fairy image from the Nature Fairies set.

A host of cards

Hi all, I thought I'd show off some cards that have, for one reason or another, been posted elsewhere.  I'm finally back to crafting (I've been away helping my Mum pack - she was moving but the minute I got home she phoned to say the sale had fallen through, some people really don't consider what they put other people through when they 'change their minds'! - Sorry, rant over)  I'm sure I'll be doing quite a few posts soon - I arrived home to a box of new Elzybells stamps (Unfortunately she is closing down but therefore has an amazing 50% sale of stamps and some of her card/buttons/ink is on sale too).  I'll also be back with some exciting news soon.

This first one uses a Bugaboo digistamp (pop on over, she has a friday freebie!) and was uploaded to the The Special 50/50 stamping group (You pay an annual fee that then allows you to download as many of the digistamps you want - these are created by resident crafters, you then use that image to enter the challenge)

This next one was uploaded over at Two Peas as part of Kristina Werners Year in Cards challenge - using repetition.

These are ones I uploaded at Splitcoast Stampers for their Christmas card Challenge

Get Whale Soon

This is a little card I created using DigiSparkle Get Well Soon stamp set.  I popped the black background up on dimensional's so that I could add the raffia and charm.
I bought my charms from ebay (much cheaper but you have to buy in slightly larger numbers).
