Fairy Wishes

With 2 girls in the house it is always useful to have a couple of girly birthday cards in my stash.

I coloured this card with my copics and my gold glitter pen and then inked the edge by using my nesties to frame it. I added some Pink Petticaot dp, glitter ribbon and a Paula Pascual sentiment.

With Kisses

Hi all, had a bit of a spending spree recently and managed to bag myself a few gorgeous Tilda's from ebay. So had a play and this is the first one I've come up with. I've coloured her with my copics and added a little glitter pen to the sparkles, she's mounted using the 'out of the box' technique and then a pink scalloped circle and I created a pink sparkle circle using my Stampendous snowflake stamp set. Oh and the sentiment is a Crafty Sentiments one from the Patches and Stitch set, love this one!

I'm entering this card for the Just Magnolia and H & S - Anything Goes Challenge

DigiSparkle Challenge

Just a quick reminder that the new challenge has begun over at Digisparkle Challenge.  This fortnight all you have to do is enter a card featuring a DigiSparkle digistamp with a Girls theme.  Here is the card I've chosen for my inspiration for this challenge.

Fairy Wishes

Hi all, from a very sunny UK.  I'm not a sun person, I'm grateful for the sun but I don't want to feel this hot! Oh well, I'm so obviously British. I moan about the weather, it's so rarely just right! lol.  Anyway ...

I just adore this DP - it's from a Smirk paper pack that my DH bought me.  Wasn't convinced to begin with but I love the cards I've made using it, including this one.

I took a leaf out of Kerry's book (especially this post) and used black card to edge my image and dp.  I wasn't quite sure how to add my sentiment, but decided to go up top with one of my retro flowers.  I used a DigiSparkle image from the Nature Fairies set, I tried to colour them with my Whispers markers but I wasn't feeling it so I went back to my trusty copics (what would I do without them?)

This card is for these challenges:

Pollycraft Monday - Summer blooms
Spoonful of Sugar - Cute and girly
Papertake - Say it with flowers
Fab n Funky - Make your own embellie
Flutter by Wednesday - Flowers + Butterfly, Fairy or Angel
Stamp Something - Celebrate
Crafty Catz - Petals and Pearls (edited - oops, just realised I've missed the deadline!)

She's passed ...

She's passed, my little sister has passed her driving test! Crumbs, does that make me feel old! She passed second time, so I had this ready for her first test (and didn't need it!) and unfortunatley I forgot to bring it with me and am now on holiday! Oh well, have shown her the picture and I guess it's the thought that counts. So congrats little sis, hope you get to use the car now and then!

I created this with one of the DigiSparkle car stamps (the Mini Cooper)and put it on top of a google map of her local area.

Card - silver card blank
Stamp - Mini Cooper from DigiSparkle (kindly coloured on the computer by my DH)
Paper - google map, pink ikea paper and papermania rose tones
Sentiment - Handwritten on white card cut out using my nesties
Other - Bid shot, silver organza ribbon from stash, silver gel pen (sakura?)

Pile on the fairies

This is a card that is piling on the challenges! I really like this Woodware fairy rubber stamp but have always used it in the same way - a basic stamp! I got the idea of using part of the stamp from this Clean and Simple card and then I've just linked it in with several challenges.

So here is my pile:

Pile it on : Round - My fairy spots are round!
Papertake Weekly: Angels or Fairies
A Spoonful of sugar : Distressing - I distressed the edges of all my paper and my fairy spots
Lord have Mercy : Sketch challenge

And here is my card:
