I recently read an article Susan at Simplicity (love her cards) had written up about Christmas cards and how digital people are in giving them. In the main I agree I love making and sending cards because I know I love receiving those heartfelt Christmas wishes of goodwill.
However, I've started thinking about this so much more as my Mum made a comment the other day that she would email out more of her Christmas cards/letters this year as the cost of postage has gone up so much. She's right but I guess I see that as my Christmas pressie to those people and it's the thought that counts so I want to show them as much thought as possible!

A little note
Hi all, just a quickie, here's a card I created using a free digi from Torico at Birdie Brown. Coloured with copics, a computer generated sentiment and then layered on red paper, simples!

Boo
Morning all! Just thought I would show off my latest card for My Mums Craft Shop. They have a bit of a theme going on over there and if you fancy winning a surprise you just need to comment on the DT's posts!
I created the background by using a moon and stars from the Paper Smooches - Metropolis in different memento inks and I don't think the photo shows it but Mr Monster is popped up on foam pads and his eyes are shiny as I've added some glossy accents.

My image is a dscontinued monster from Pollycraft - sorry!

Bookmarks
Just recently we got a bit muddled with the girls bibles at church, their friend went home with Jess' so I decided to make bookmarks to identify them.
The girls choose the ribbons and felt colours from my stash. I let them cut the letters out using my Big Shot and the By The Letters & Uppercase die-namics They fabric glued the felt to the ribbon and once it was dry I used my sewing machine to add a zig zag stitch to keep them on.

Fimo creations.
Here's a few more of my fimo creations! The top two I've turned into magnets and the bottom two I put holes in to make into pendants, i just haven't got round to sorting them. (I'm sorry for the dodgy photos)

Distracted
I know I've been a bad blogger of late, but I've been a bit distracted. My friend has renewed my passion for jewellery making so I've been doing a lot of that and therefore not a lot of cardmaking!
But since I've been such a bad blogger I thought I'd show you some of what I've been doing.
Here are just a few of my makes!
This is my first one, my prototype,
it's supposed to be a shamballa style bracelet
and of course once the girls had seen it they wanted one so I made some children's versions:

Thanks
Morning all, my second post for My Mum's Craft Shop, so excited!
We're all featuring a themed offering this week, can you guess the theme? My humble offering is a little treat bag. I didn't use a load of supplies I merely went for a little simplicity.
I used the MFT Die-namics By the letters dies and I tried a new technique. I part cut them so didn't pass the dies all the way through the big shot just partway so they're still attached the bottom of the card. I then added orange paper at the back (embossed with my nesties! Not that you can see it!)

Monkey Zoo
Hi all, this is my first post as GDT for My Mum's Craft Shop. I've really enjoyed chatting to the lovely ladies over at MMCS and am really hoping I don't disappoint them.
I thought I would start with a CC Designs stamp, love these stamps and I love that this one comes with it's own sentiment, and one that my kids love to sing!
I decided to create two different cards using this stamp, a boys version and a girls version, hope you likey!
