I thought I would show you another of my sneak peek cards, this one features Primrose - Sweet Cookies, Isn't she a cutie? I went for a CAS style card.  I used my new clear border stamps to create the three strips of pink polka dots (love polka dots at the moment!) and I finished it off with a Crafty Sentiments sentiment from the Patches and Stitch set.

This card is for these challenges:

Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes

Crafty Sentiments - Sneak Peeks

Hi all, just wanted to share sneak peek of one of the new releases from Crafty Sentiments.  This set of gorgeousness will be released on the 7th June.

But for those of you that can't wait to spend their hard earned cash Suzette is having a sale for this bank holiday - a massive 15% off. So a great chance to buy some of the bunnies from the last release as well as some great sentiments :)

But here is my card!  I used Primrose - Taking a break.  I coloured her with copics, and cut them out with my nesties. I created the background with a flower clear stamp (from There She Goes - Blossom by Blossom) and added a Crafty Sentiments sentiment (from the Spring sentiments set).

I want to enter this card into these challenges:

iCopic Weekly - Advanced shadows (I spent ages creating that bench shadow!)
Stamp Something - Sentimental
My time to craft - Use a die cut
Creative Card Crew - Anything goes
Lets craft and create - Dies to Die for
DigiDoodles - Anything Goes

Stamp Something - Anything Goes

Over at Stamp Something they're celebrating their 3rd birthday with some amazing prizes and they're also doing a fabby blog hop with loads of prizes along the way, not to mention loads of gorgeous cards :)

This is one of my out of my comfort zone cards.  The topper is a magazine freebie, I cut the cardstock and added elements with my whispers pens and used a Waltzingmouse stamp (from the Half Pint Heroes set).  I'm pleased with the way it came out, really like the grass and although the colours on the sea aren't perfect the look is ok!

TSG - Photo inspiration

Just a quick one (while blogger is working!) This is for the There She Goes photo inspiration challenge.

I created it using a mix of Craft's Meow Stamps and TSG sentiment, I die cut my new blossom nesties and I punched 2 hearts.  The main new thing about this card is that I had a go at watering down my inks.  I inked up my acrylic block with some memento inks (orange, red and yellow) and then spritzed them with water and then used that as my ink pad.

Blossom by Blossom

I couldn't believe my luck recently I have managed to win a couple of stamp sets. The first one that arrived this week was this set (Blossom by Blossom designed by Torico) from There She Goes. And what a beautiful set it is. I absolutely adore her stamps and her cards. I so adored her card here that I just had to case it. I used a different sentiment from the set and created the panel by using the Magnolia lace die and then embossing a couple of lines. I coloured her with copics (really liking this 'blonde' look)

iCopic - Colour with red

Just found this blog - iCopic - and is perfect timing as I have just made this wedding card (another refill for Mum's card box) and gone with a red theme. Their theme is colouring with reds.  I coloured with R24, 27 & 29 I used the C1,3,5,7,9 and 100 oh and I used my new hair combo of YR23 and Y23. I coloured my pearls with R29 and amazingly they look ok (would have been better if I let them dry a little longer - I was just too impatient!) Yes the paper strip is red, I guess my camera doesn't like red.

The image and sentiment are Elzybells (unfortunately, no longer trading) and I used my new blossom nesties to cut out the Paper Cellar paper I used my scallop border punch on the black cardstock.

Crafty Sentiments - Buttons

This week's Crafty Sentiments Challenge is to use buttons on your project. Not an easy one for me as I rarely use them but a good chance to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself!

For some reason I associate buttons with male cards, go figure! With that thought it was kinda easy as I am loving the Charles Bear images for male cards at the moment. So all I did was add my own sentiment before I printed it out then I coloured with copics, cut it out using a square nestie, added some nestie stars and a selection of buttons (I added twine and glued on using Glue dots).  It's all popped on a Papermania card base.

Don't forget to go and check out my teamies amazing creations.

Pollycraft - Boys to men

This card is for this week's Pollycraft challenge - Boys to men.  I used a Pollycraft image (Fluffy) and coloured it with copics, then I handwrote the sentiment :) Simples :)

The stork

Over at Simon Says Stamp  they are having a baby challenge as Heidi is about to have a little one :) My Mum has used up her baby cards and has asked for a few more so I set about making some more and here they are!

I love this chick, I used it for Easter but I don't see why I can't use it more often so ...

A Torico freebie image (Chubby Chicks), Magnolia die, Papermania paper and a clear stamp (hmm, not sure where from)

This card uses the same clear stamp set, my minds eye paper (I think) and this freebie from Little Musings

This card uses some stamps I've had forever, a sentiment from Paula Pascal, a few pearls and what you can't see is some Papermania glittery vellum on top of the feet and hands, unfortunately the sheen hasn't photographed very well!

Crafty Sentiments Stamp Launch - Day 1

Over these 3 days we're showing off some new stamps from Crafty Sentiments. These amazing creations from new artist Justyna Karaszewska, will be able to purchase on Thursday 12th but we thought we would thoroughly tease you for three days first!

These are the most gorgeous stamps and they stamp perfectly. I cheated (mostly because I couldn't wait to ink them up) I didn't add to easy mount I just used re-positionable tape to tape them to my acrylic block and they stamped perfectly, first time! Never done that before, always needed to stamp once first, especially without easy mount! I'm in love.

Today's sneaky peek is for this amazing stamp, Rosie - Spring Flowers.  Isn't she adorable? I just adore this image, the flowers and butterflies are just perfect and this was such an easy image to colour and I put Rosie straight onto the base because I think the image is so beautiful it didn't need any distractions!

Supplies

Card base: Kraft
Image: Crafty Sentiments - Rosie - Spring flowers coloured with Derwent softcolour pencils and sansador
Other: Elzybells sentiment stamp, Memento Rosebud ink, Bakers Cotton candy twine, Corner chomper

Some sad news

**This is a sticky post so please scroll down for newer posts**

DIGISPARKLE IS CLOSING

Due to other commitments I have made the difficult decision to close DigiSparkle.
I have really enjoyed sharing my digistamps with you all and will definitely miss the adventure that DigiSparkle has been.

However, before I disappear I wanted to give everybody their last  opportunity to bag a bargain.
So I have decided to put together some SUPERSAVER bundles and there is also a 50% off voucher for those of you that prefer to buy the individual stamps.

DigiSparkle will be open until the end of May so this is your last chance to grab any of my digi's.

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge

Just a quickie so i can get back to my film! This card was made for the Waltzingmouse sketch challenge. A difficult one this week but I tried my best (although the photo is particularly dodgy, sorry camera is playing up!) I used shrinkie plastic to create the spaceship which is attached using a cotton (oh and some foam pads!) and the Half Pint Heroes set to create the background.

Crafty Sentiments - New Stamps

I'm sooooo excited, just take a look at this first sneaky peek of the rubber stamps Crafty Sentiments are releasing soon. Isn't she cute? I know I should be jumping around in excitement, very childish! but I've decided to embrace the child within :)  Keep popping back you never know when a sneaky peek may appear!

Please please could you spread the word.  Just add this banner to your side banner and spread the word :)

Crafty Sentiments - Flowers

Here's an easy challenge! Crafty Sentiments challenge this week is to use flowers, such an easy challenge yet it took me ages to decide what to do because I was spoilt for choice.  There are so many Crafty Sentiments stamps that would fit the bill. I decided to use Toby in a pot because, well just because he is sooo cute!  I paired him up with some Papermania flowery paper, magnolia doohickey border die, my nesties and of some dubious handwriting!

Don't forget to come and check out the team's amazing creations and maybe join in the fun.
