Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes

Hi all, today's Crafty Sentiments Challenge is an easy one, Anything Goes and as if to make it any easier you've got a bit of extra time on this one!

This week I made a card using one of the winter releases, Crafty Sentiments Christmas Amy, I also used a really cool frame I bought from a company (HobbyHabitat) who sell on ebid.  I stamped on it and then popped Amy up on top (yes I coloured her with copics!).

Crafty Sentiments - Sketch and and Snowflakes

Morning all, early post this morning as I just cannot get back to sleep which is a great shame as my youngest is finally beginning to sleep past 5.30 - shame my body clock hasn't altered yet!

This is this week's Crafty Sentiments challenge, and before anyone points out the obvious there are no snowflakes on my design, why I hear you ask. Well the simple answer is because I din't read the challenge carefully enough, I was too excited by Suzette's cool sketch, isn't it brill?

Anyway, because I'm a limited layer kind of a crafter I tried to minimise the layers and created this card with just two, sorry, three layers.  I used this gorgeous fence image and I created the circle by masking and inking.  I used the Crafty Sentiments Girl with heart (isn't she sooooo cute, love her.) which I cut out and popped on top with dimensionals (yes, I coloured her with copics, do I ever change?) I finished it off with some sewing thread upon which I placed the panel. Oh, and I handwrote the sentiment down the edge of the panel.

Prairie Fairy

She has fluttered back into our lives (and back to blogger) and is offering an amazing candy, look ...

So why not pop on over and check her out.

If you've arrived here from Adrina's blog then you're in the right place. If not then hop on over to the Digi Blog Hop and start from the beginning.

So, here is my card:

I've used a Digisparkle image, this is Holly, she is one of the Christmas Girls.  I coloured Holly with my copics and used my coloursoft pencils which I blended with mineral spirits to put a blue shadow around the edge and as you can see I've used copious amounts of glitter. I also used a DigiSparkle sentiment that can be found in this Traditional Christmas set.

Right, now it's time to pop on over to Claire's blog and see her super creation.

Wild Rose Studio

Look what I won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I joined in the fun over at the Wild Rose Studio blog hop, and I won the grand prize!!!!

Couldn't resist making a quick card (can't wait to create properly, probably not until Christmas is done with, more's the pity!) This is definitely a big thank you to Dulcie, Matthew and the Design Team at the Wild Rose Studio blog.  A big thank you for an amazing hop and some amazing work from the DT as well as a big thank you for my prize.

but unfortunately nothing remains mine for long in my house and it wasn't long before the girls had spotted 'my' prize and so creating with two 4 year olds began.  To be fair I did have a brainwave and got the Shrinkles out and the girls created these gorgeous little keyrings.

Yes, I have put them on the Christmas tree to photograph and yes it is up, I got way too excited! I'm a big child at heart.

Crafty Sentiments - New beginnings

This week's Crafty Sentiments Challenge is on the the theme of New beginnings ie. new friendships, new home, new job, new baby, new relationship etc.  I went with new home as I had someone in mind for this!  I used the Crafty Sentiments Bird House digi image.

I stitched around the edge with a turquoise thread and then added the image (coloured with copics, naturally!) which was cut and then inked using my circle nesties.  I cut the scalloped circle out of kraft card  and then hand wrote the sentiment in silver ink.
